It was below zero today as we drove across the high plains of Wyoming to get home. Brrrrr!

This is from Saturday at the church in Colorado. The black part at the bottom just seemed to need some text. The colors never seem very rich on this laptop compared to regular PC, so I hope you get the colorful one. :-)

This is the historical Circle J church near Ten Sleep, Wyoming. I'm posting it in honor of my mother-in-law, Pearl, who just passed away. We will leave for Colorado in the morning.

I work at Sundance Elementary, a world of kids and books. Lucky me, I'm surrounded by colorful characters! :-)

I took this while my DS Alex was playing some sweet jazz, but I seem to like it oriented this way. I have written down my settings, but will have to add them later as I don't have them with me here. It reminds me of Alex and I won't get to hear him much when he goes back to college, but it has been wonderful over the break. I might scrap this one somehow with the earlier picture of him below.

Yep, that's me doing something I enjoy. :-) I love digital because I can take so many and then just pick what I like from the instant results. I just thrive on the feeling and sound of the shutter, and combining photography with computer is a match made in heaven for me!

Nothing great, just playing around with shooting the chair. Now, what could I put in it? I think there is some potential here, but it wasn't quite there. At least I got the daily snap, though.

This is the Big Horn River in northwestern Wyoming. We like to canoe here in the summer and we often see herons and other wildlife then. At this time the bare cottonwood branches are a favorite perch for bald eagles. I'm trying to think more about my focus to see if I can be more aware of it and use manual more. HHCC welcome too.

I tried for some artful bubble picture, but it wasn't in the cards. :-) I couldn't seem to get the big bubbles that I wanted to have the reflections in, but it was fun trying!

It was dark out, so I looked around the house for something to try. My eye landed on the aquarium. Luckily this is a digital camera, or I'd have run out of film long ago! It took a million shots, and eventually I ended up with this to offer. Definitely recommended for a rainy day project. It was fun though!

This is our Jill and little Molly.
